Over 40 years of experience in IT positions providing senior level management in the IT Operations and Information Security areas as a CIO, CISO, & CSO. I held the position of the CIO equivalent at the White House managing all the classified automation and telecommunications for the President, VP, his staff, and the Secret Service.
Mark is a prolific speaker and speaks about many topics. One of his most favorite topics is to speaks about his time at the Clinton White House of which he has published a book. Other topics he speaks on are; the inner workings of the White House, of Politics, of the Clinton's, of the Military, of Information Technology, of Information Security, of Cyber Breaches, of Business Continuity, of leadership, of professionalism, motivation, and Mentoring other to succeed. Mark is in the process of writing three more books that will be published in 2019
Mark has worked in the private sector as the CIO/CSO for World Airways (largest US wide body, long hall, charter airline), CTO & CISO for InterCall (world's largest conferencing company). CISO for TravelClick - a global SaaS company in the Hospitality space. As a contractor/consultant had the opportunity to provide services as the Acting CISO for NCR and the Acting CISO for Georgia Lottery Corporation. Currently VP of Technology Governance for US Bank/Elavon
Mark has worked with the Government and other agencies in the area of Cyber Security, training, exercises, and developing a Cyber Security program. Mark has worked with the CDC, DoD, USARC, Georgia National Guard, Ga Tech, and others in this areas.
I have also performed a wide range of other skills over and above my specialty areas to include; strategic planning, project management, process analysis, systems trouble shooting, user needs assessment, programming, training, short & long range planning, budget development, contract negotiations, administration, and office management.
