I am a Patient Experience Warrior at Carilion Clinic...although my "official" title is the System Patient Experience Manager. I am a Registered Nurse with 13 years of experience in healthcare (Critical Care & Emergency Medicine) and have been involved in patient experience for the past 7 years. I am also an Adjunct Clinical Nursing Faculty to first and second year nursing students.

I received Honorable mention in 2018 for the Virginia Nurses Foundation and the 2017 Virginia Nurses Foundation Leadership Excellence Award for Direct Patient Care Leader – Patient Experience.

I have a wide range of experience speaking on the topic of patient experience having spoken at a breakout session at a national conference specifically on Emergency Department Patient Experience, and multiple plenary speaker engagements for both state and local conferences.
