This presentation captures the events of my burn and what it took to get where I am today. I explore some of the challenges my care team and I faced, what it took to maintain positivity in my darkest hours, and the key takeaways I learned and gained wisdom from. I use varying degrees of perspective and real-life examples from my experience to captivate audiences and help them learn how to smile in the face of extreme adversity. This presentation is most often framed into a motivational and/or inspirational speech. However, it can be tailored to approach a wide array of specific topics.
