The mental health conditions were not the issues but the fact that treatment was not promptly sought. Treatment was not promptly sought due to the stigma surrounding mental illness. By the time treatment was received, it was too late. This led to my brothers not leading ordinary, productive, and fulfilling lives. I shared three simple but powerful tips with the audience on what to do if they find themselves in the same situation as my family.
