Dr. Debra has over 30-years of community service, corporate training/coaching experience. As a social scientist, researcher, former university psychotherapy professor, and Inclusion and Diversity expert, she uses systemic relational tools to help organizations and companies navigate through tough leadership challenges related to community-building in the workplace. Dr. Debra has appeared on CNBC, FOX, and other local, regional and national media. In 2015, she retired from academia to dedicate herself to helping spiritual and business leaders who are committed to not only making a difference in their respective organizations but in our world.
Harnessing her extensive experience in the areas of religion, psychology, systemic psychotherapy, education, relationships, and spirituality, Dr. Debra founded Liberation Family Ministries. Her ambitious purpose and life's calling is to transform the world using her Personal Growth Curriculum, The Believers' Transformative Relationship Training (BTRT), a practical, "how-to-love" training applicable to any space where human relationships exist. The world, according to Dr. Debra, is not in need of "love sweet love" but the it needs to know how-to execute love--the most wildly misunderstood concept--not emotion--but practice--in human history.
Church leaders, with the Great Commission close at heart will find her Believers' Transformative Curriculum an effective growth tool for the 21st Century and beyond. Business leaders, interested in engaging the most diverse work community of our country’s life, will find the transformative properties of Dr. Debra's curriculum equally viable for creating safe, productive workplaces.
For Dr. Debra, the sacred and the secular are inextricably connected, both are the stuff of human relationships—her love, her practice, her calling.
