Autism: My life and Journey
I became aware of my autism diagnosis at the age of 11. At that point I had already been fostered, adopted and then placed back into foster care. I found out as an adult I had already been diagnosed at an earlier stage of my life, but it was hidden from me and from others who needed to know, due to stigma. I will teach you how my autism affects me, what coping strategies I have put in place to get by, as well as what difficulties I still struggle with today.
