Bio

Ellie has an educational background in Family and Human Development and has worked with children and families in various positions across the United States. Her passion lies in strengthening families by using the most recent research available. Having worked as a teacher and researcher for Head Start organizations, Ellie has seen trauma impact families and young children first-hand. As a result, she spent her time as a graduate student studying research-based methods for handling stress in families and creating positive outcomes for children and parents.

As a Certified Family Life Educator, Ellie is prepared to address family-related topics including Human Growth and Development Across the Lifespan, Human Sexuality, Interpersonal Relationships, Family Resource Management, and Parental Education. She is particularly passionate about teaching ways to improve interpersonal relationships within the family.

In her role as a mother and wife, Ellie has experienced the importance of implementing the best strategies for strengthening her own family. Building family rituals is something else she strives to do in her own home, and she can help you do the same. She only shares advice with you that she herself would follow, so you’re sure to learn tried-and-true methods that you can start using right away in your home and family.
