  • Ms. Nimenya, your talk was just what I was hoping for after our phone conversation a few days before the Student Leadership Conference. Everyone in your audience was especially impressed with your humility combined with candor. You showed everyone the importance of intentionally opening oneself to new and different people and how learning about their ideas and experiences can enable us to come together and find shared purposes. This expands the number and kind of people we can potentially serve as leaders in our communities. Your insightful words and calm presence on stage taught us all about the meaning of dignity and its importance for leaders. So, thank you so very much for joining us and for helping us make an investment in some of America and Mexico’ s young leaders. With great appreciation.
