Emma-Claire Fierce is a French writer, speaker and extreme swimmer born in France.
She is known for completing the Tsugaru Channel in July 2019 (swimsuit) settling a world record in the swimming world.
Emma-Claire Fierce is the 1st French to swim the Oceans Seven.
The Oceans Seven is a marathon swimming challenge consisting of seven open water channel swims. It was devised in 2008 as the swimming equivalent of the Seven Summits mountaineering challenge. It includes the North Channel, the Cook Strait, the Molokaʻi Channel, the English Channel, the Catalina Channel, the Tsugaru Strait and the Strait of Gibraltar.
Emma-Claire Fierce is also the 1st French women to have crossed half the North Channel on the 1st August 2020 in 9 hours, one of the most physically enduring swim of the world due to the conditions of the swim (weather conditions, oceans currents, shipments, jellyfishes ...)
Fierce discovered swimming when she was six and started writing poems at an early age to her grandmother. Her passion for arts, researches and cultures has lead her to take on a unique path and create the OCEANS7VEN universe.
