About
I grew up in a family of medical doctors. I learned to measure blood pressure and hold a stethoscope earlier than most, though at the time, I didn’t grasp the weight of what they represented. Medicine was part of my DNA, shaping my curiosity and values from the very beginning. Yet when the time came to choose my path, I was drawn to the chemical side of things: pharmacy. Little did I know that this choice would open so many versatile doors: research and development, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, medical affairs, hospitals, universities, labs, and the pharma industry. I chose the pharma industry. And to the surprise of many close to me, I didn’t pursue a hospital or university career. Instead, I took the unusual road for a PharmD and leaned into the business side of pharma. Why? Because science and medicine were already deeply ingrained in me. I wanted to explore how strategy, leadership, and business decisions could be powered by science and driven by a deeper purpose: saving people’s lives or at least improving their quality of life.
