Journalists know better than most that words matter. In this presentation, participants will learn about ways to write about sexual violence in ways that empower survivors of sexual violence and disrupt common myths.
This sex education workshop focuses on sexual communication. Over a three-hour period, participants will explore how to express boundaries, communicate desires, and gracefully navigate rejection.
In this introductory workshop, participants will learn the basics of consent. After reviewing definitions, participants will have the opportunity to discuss what consent sounds like and looks like in practice with interactive activities and scenario-based learning.
