Crisis Intervention Team Training
Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) is based on the Memphis model and is a 40-hour class. During the session, participants learn signs and symptoms of mental illness, engage in simulations and role play, take field trips, and learn multiple techniques on how to safely and effectively de-escalate crisis situations.
