Tara is a highly ambitious, resourceful and performance-driven motivational speaker, business owner & acclaimed domestic violence activist.
Tara believes life prepared her to Make Cancer Fun. With a degree in Theater and a background in self-Improvement she always assumed she would pursue a career in the arts. However, after starting a direct sales business at 20 years old she found herself immersed in the world of personal development. She quickly rose to the top of her field, earning numerous accolades, company awards & soon began teaching, mentoring & coaching women from around the country on how to build successful businesses. Then in 2008 Tara found herself in the midst of a Domestic Violence Divorce. Just when she thought she hit rock bottom she found herself in an emergency room a short nine months later with her only child & a High Risk Stage 4 Childhood Cancer diagnosis.
Utilizing her theater and personal development training, Tara choose to rise above her circumstances to face cancer with fun and found gratitude in the process. She made sure her daughter never stopped fighting with a “Jersey Girl” survivor spirit.
For over 20 years Tara has taught thousands of women through weekly live workshops, training calls, & webinars. She has become an advocate for domestic violence victims & a voice for legal reform.
Currently, Tara is working on a series of books that will help families and medical professionals
build the same foundation of hope that pulled her and her daughter Emily Grace through 6 rounds of chemo, 8 hour surgery, a bone marrow transplant, radiation and months of experimental
treatments.
Speaking at numerous non-profits and seminars, Tara shares her heart for hope, faith, & gratitude
in the midst of life’s biggest challenges.
