Mark Medley is the President of ID Theft Resolutions, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit he started in December 2011, dedicated exclusively to (1) educating the public, public officials and legislators about the challenges presented by the identity theft phenomenon and how to prevent and respond to ID theft and (2) helping ID theft victims recover their identity and protect their credit. Mark was a victim of ID theft himself in 2001 and has vowed that “no one should have to go through what I did just because somebody stole their identity”. He has spent the last several frustrating years in recovering his good name. Is your identity solid? Are you confident in who you are and the difference you make in the world? Your self-concept can be that of a superhero or that of a super hoser, it's up to you. If you want to transform the way you see yourself and the impact you make, bringing a dose of Vitamin D Grant to your team, meeting or event is just the ticket! Simply put: your heart and mind is a garden. What you plant inside yourself creates the reality you harvest. This is the heart of my brand, Growth Farming. Growth Farming is a method and philosophy for success based around principles of valuing individuals and building strong relationships. It starts with you. As you love and value yourself, that carries over into your ability to create and foster strong relationships in your personal and professional life. Which radically impacts the way you leave your mark on the world and the legacy you leave behind. A Little Bit Of My Backstory: After spending nearly 20 years in radio and media, both as a startup entrepreneur and a manager of a nonprofit organization, growth has been a process of powerful life lessons. Using effective relationship building methods, I gained a national audience through getting my program The Appetizer Radio Show placement on radio stations without spending a fortune hiring a PR company or publicist. I did this all using old fashioned relationship building methods pioneered by Dale Carnegie. It was using this same method that got an email response from Seth Godin (best selling author and business expert) that led to him being a guest on my podcast. From that conversation, the framework for my brand Growth Farming emerged. Confidence and solidarity that builds successful businesses is essential to growing anything. Which is why mindset is such a big focus in the Growth Farming method. I've worked with many entrepreneurs and business leaders (2 clients were recently awarded in the 20-Under-40 Leaders in Abilene Young Professionals), artists and creatives through coaching and personal development. I've also presented keynotes at workshops, online summits, and live events. Motivational speaking is easy. You get people fired up about something and for about 30 minutes after the presentation they feel pretty inspired. But the Vitamin D Grant method is something all together more powerful. Empowerment is my superpower, and encouragement is my Love language. Added to that inspirational and enlightening storytelling that transforms the way you see and understand your life journey. Whether you're looking for a powerful and inspiring emcee, a transformational keynote speaker, or a storyteller who will leave your heart begging for more, you get all three with bringing Vitamin D Grant Smith, The Growth Farmer, to your next gathering and event.
