Dr. Ludy Green is one of the world’s foremost experts on Economic Empowerment and violence against women. A Human Rights activist for over 20 years, she speaks regularly in national and international venues on the importance of financial autonomy in breaking the abusive patterns that hold captive victims of violence and human trafficking. She was also a presenter at the International Women's Forum in Berlin, Germany (2014) and at the Qatar International Business Women Forum (2013). For her work in domestic violence and human trafficking Dr. Green’s numerous awards including: Nominee to the United Nations Business Leader’s Award; Washington Business Journal‘s Women Who Mean Business Award (2010); Brava Award (2009); Woman of Vision Award (2008); and Washingtonian of the Year (2008). Fluent in Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and German, Dr. Green has a B.S. in International Finance; she earned her M.A. in Human Resources Management at The George Washington University and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Southern California University. She graduated from the Leadership Washington Program in 2003, and Finance for Senior Executives at Harvard University in 2010.
