Whitney has been a highly rated speaker at several National HR Conferences and has authored articles on assessments for several books and publications, including Harvard Business Review. From a young age, I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. My dad owns and operates his own business, and I loved going to work with him, seeing the ins and outs of the operation. I fell in love with the business world. Entrepreneurship was discouraged in my home. I was told to go to college, preferably pursue a career in the medical field, and have a stable career. Trying to figure out my path in life, I have worked in restaurants, was a CNA, dropped out of ultrasound tech school, attended a community college on and off for 4 years (ended up with an Associates in Communications), worked for Disney, etc. I eventually married my high school sweetheart and started our own family. When the pandemic hit, I started to take an audit of my life to see if there was room for improvement. I came to the conclusion that almost every area of my life needed improvement. I was not who or where I wanted to be in life. I was not the mother my boys deserved. I was not pursuing the career I wanted for myself. I was not the person I knew I had to become for everything to fall into place. I started to do my own personal development so that I could become the person who finally invented Laundry Buddy and manage my own company. My journey has not been easy, and it will continue to be uncomfortable. True growth in any aspect of life will never be an easy task. I am proud of how far I have come and excited for how much more work I will accomplish.

Loren Sheets is a prominent figure in the Milwaukee music scene. His interest in music was sparked by frequent family outings to local festivals and concerts despite their lack of musical background. These formative experiences instilled in him a deep appreciation for live performances. In his school years, Loren was an engaged student, particularly drawn to literature and history. He participated actively in the school choir and band, where he honed his foundational music skills. His proper musical education, however, occurred outside the classroom—immersing himself in music theory and songwriting through extensive reading at the local library and exploring various music genres through videos and records. Loren's musical path truly began with a lucky find—a guitar at a garage sale. Without formal lessons, he taught himself to play, dedicating countless hours to learning chords and crafting melodies. His proficiency grew, allowing him to delve into folk and blues, genres that emphasize storytelling, which profoundly influenced his songwriting. Eventually, Loren felt ready to share his music publicly, starting with performances at small, local venues like cafes and community events. These intimate settings fostered a deep connection with his audience. Live playing became essential to him, appreciating the direct engagement each show offered and enjoying collaborations with other local musicians, which broadened his musical style. As he became more integrated into the local music scene, he began composing his material inspired by the city and its inhabitants. His distinct style gradually attracted a following. After years of performing, Loren decided to record his music, seizing the opportunity to capture his live sound for a broader audience. He collaborated with a local studio that aligned with his artistic vision. Loren's influence in the local music community expanded as he mentored young musicians and organized events to promote emerging talent. His efforts to make music accessible and to support other artists solidified his reputation as a pillar of the Milwaukee music scene. His debut album marked a significant milestone, acclaimed for its blend of folk, blues, and rock. His live performances became a staple in local music festivals and benefit concerts, supporting various community initiatives. His music also gained exposure on local radio, enhancing his audience reach. Today, he continues to be an active force in music, constantly creating new material and exploring ways to share it, from live performances to digital platforms. Although he embraces technology to extend his reach, he remains dedicated to the authenticity of live music. Beyond music, Loren has a keen interest in the visual arts and literature.
