WHAT I DO: I help people - leaders, teams, brands - unleash their awesome on the world. For the first 8+ years of my career, I helped businesses communicate with their audiences, authentically and with impact. My life was in the digital world, obsessed with getting more attention from people on their phone or computer screens. But something was missing. I noticed we all began spending our lives in our screens and not in the world. So now I teach people how to live their best lives, do their best work and be there best selves. It begins and ends with mindfulness, gratitude and love. :)

Adoption of new technologies and practices as well as solutions to persistent and resistant problems in the workplace require changes in human behavior. Regardless of the intelligence of a new platform or the elegance of a process flow, returns on investments are driven by how well and how quickly people adapt to change. Accelerating the change process through applying the written and, most especially, unwritten rules of human behavior has long been my secret sauce. But where did that wisdom come from? Would you believe a childhood filled with dairy farming influences and one honest teacher? Two lessons that shaped me into the Change Thought Leader of today: 1. Dairy farmers know that life literally revolves around meeting the needs of their four-legged, black-and-white-spotted animals. Forget about them, and you’re out of a job. The same is true for your employees impacted by the change. Cows are curious creatures. If left to themselves, they tend to wander and get into trouble. You can spend hours rescuing a cow that has somehow managed to get tangled in the barbed-wire fences. People too are curious, especially about change. If you stop giving them a part in the change story, if you quit being there for them during the transformation, or if you start distancing the “why” we are changing from them, you’ll quickly find yourself having to untangle impacted users from that “barbed wire fence.” 2. My grade school teachers echoed the same feedback year after year, “Debbie is definitely one of the most talkative students, no matter where we move her in class, she communicates with everyone!” Throughout my career, I have developed the art of being able to communicate with anyone at any given time. From speaking on public stages to studying communication's impact on human behavior, to working in a variety of industries that allowed me to utilize this skill to become an expert change manager, I’ve learned that effective communication is at the core of any successful transformation initiative, change leader and business. Through the art of storytelling, I deliver a personal, thought-provoking, and inspiring presentation centered around the concept of CHANGE. I transform my experiences into relatable messages of resilience that are meaningful to a wide range of audiences. I reach each person with relevance, leaving behind lessons that can be applied in all aspects of professional, relational, and spiritual life. Because of my extensive background in Corporate America, I can tailor the message into interactive workshops and training sessions addressing the various needs of organizations and companies that may be experiencing significant change. Qualifications: * 25 years enabling the design and successful delivery of strategic change * Author of 2 books and many articles on change * Master storyteller and dynamic public speaker * Masters, Human Resource Development (HRD) * Certified Change Practitioner

At just 19 years old, Brandon Farbstein is an internationally renowned empowerment speaker and thought innovator. He embarks on his mission to change the world one person at a time through his captivating talks to audiences ranging from youth, to business professionals, to conferences of 5,000 live. His message has reached over one million people around the world in just two years, including at the Vice Presidential Debate (October 2016) and TEDx Talks. Brandon uses charismatic influence to inspire and motivate, while leaving his audience with a stirring desire to be a catalyst for change. Standing at 3’9”, you will quickly discover how Brandon has transformed the lives of so many individuals across the globe, with a shift in perspective about themselves and others. At the age of 2, Brandon was diagnosed with a rare form of dwarfism called metatropic dysplasia, resulting in his current height being that of the average seven year old. From day one of his journey, he quickly realized he would need to create solutions for the obstacles that would come his way each day. Whether it was ingratiating himself with key decision makers since he could speak, or, Brandon was able to innovate his own solution and learned to pave his own path in the world. As peers continued to grow in stature and tower over him year after year, Brandon discovered the many struggles he would face in a world that wasn’t designed for him. His battle with depression came to a peak at the age of 11, and the thoughts of ending his journey grew more imminent as the days became more painful. Through an intense support system filled with strength and love, he worked to get out of his own way and continued to live life on his own terms…discovering how impactful it was to give more than you take. Though Brandon was constantly on the stage since the age of 8, he still felt invisible and isolated. That was, until a chance encounter at the airport gate where he and his family were waiting to catch a plane to Miami in October 2014. A woman approached Brandon after being intrigued by his Segway mobility device, and began making small talk. This small talk turned into an hour and 1/2 of discussion on his journey thus far, the various bumps in the road, and what he wanted to do with his life. It turned out this woman was one of the driving forces behind the TEDx movement, and recommended that Brandon give a talk at a TEDx event that would be coming up a few months later. On April 10, 2015, his journey changed forever. He stood on stage in front of nearly 2,000 sets of eyes as himself for the very first time- not playing a character, not having scripted lines. For six minutes, he presented his perspective of empowerment and innovation while telling his story, being vulnerable and authentic. It was in this moment Brandon discovered his absolute passion and purpose on why he is living the life he was given. Those six minutes would soon turn into the rest of his life.
