My name is Robert Davis. Im a business owner but Motivational speaking is where my heart is. I travel to different cities & States speaking to & encouraging audiences of all ages (male & female) to do greater things in life. No my story is not unusual but it's the details that make it unique. I was born in the city of Jackson in a neighborhood called Virden Addition. For most who know of it, I don't have to say that this was not a glamorous place to live. As a matter of fact It's one of the worst communities in the state. Drugs, gangs & poverty are at every opening that leads into it. This year alone it has surpassed Chicago in the murder rate catergory. Violence is all individuals respect within its boundaries & from birth causing chaos is everyone's primary goal. I grew up in the midst of all of this & fell victim to the negative lures of the street. My greatest asset against it was being blessed with a Godly Mother who cared about me. It was bad but not having a POSITIVE male role model in my life canceled out any chance of me sticking to her plans. Yes, I loved my Mother & listened to her but I admired the streets. I often look back on my life & ask "How did i ever stay alive on my own all those years"? To be honest I don't know how I made it. Well, let me take that back. It was God keeping me that allowed me to survive not only my neighborhood but the entire city of Jackson. I compare my 15 year old son to me back then & say "he'd never make it on his own out there". It makes me so grateful to God. I joined the gang at the age of 11 in a season where we had to shoot someone to become a member. While my Mother raised me in the church I ran away from home at the age of 12 & lived on the street until my adulthood. My prayers were to die & be put out of my misery back then. Im glad God ignores some requests. One reason why it didn't happen was because I was too fierce & terrified most of my enemies. I was a calloused young Man early in life. I can remember sleeping on the street, eating out of the garbage, & robbing grown Men who were my height (6'1) for what they had on when i wanted to change clothes. During this time I went to every facility that would house a young Man under 18. I even went to different mental facilities that would accept me. I was diagnosed with "P.T.S.D" & "Agoraphobia". I would go back & visit church occasionally but i can clearly remember running out of service because the people clapping sounded like amplified gunshots. It was crystal clear I was in no shape to be an example to anyone but lots of young men followed in my footsteps. They wanted to be just like me. I was notorious for violence. I led plenty of young Men astray. You can ask most of them about me right now & they'll say "Killa B was one of the most serious individuals walking"! It's nothing I'm proud of or wanna give the devil any glory for. Its just the truth & only the beginning of my story.

25 years as regulatory and litigation counsel for the PA Insurance Department, in administrative and appellate litigation. I moved into private practice as a consultant in July 2014. Extensive litigation in the Commonwealth Court's original jurisdiction, and in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. My cases received national attention including Forbes magazine and a personal appearance on Inside Edition. Lead counsel for multistate market conduct settlements, including a complex 41-state settlement. Routinely worked closely with the Commonwealth's Office of Attorney General (OAG) and federal prosecutors, coordinating the investigation and criminal prosecution of insurance producers and unlicensed insurers. Oversaw staff lawyers' litigation management. I have given numerous presentations and CLEs on insurance issues, litigation, negotiations, and regulatory issues generally. I've also trained federal authorities on investigating and regulatory prosecution of white collar crimes. I served as chair of OGC's Appellate Sub-committee, coaching and lecturing lawyers in appellate argument statewide (approximately 450+ lawyers). I also ran the PA Commonwealth's statewide moot court program (33 agencies), spoke yearly at the OGC University, and CLE programs. I have also been involved in the Prison Christian Growth Group for 33 years, expanding from nine members and two jails, to 143 members and15 jails and prisons. For the past three years, I've given talks/sermons to inmates every three weeks (up until Covid this past Spring) Oh, and I play guitar - a custom built copy of Jerry Garcia's Tiger, along with 70 of my videos on Youtube with about 1.3 million views; I've done stand-up comedy as a volunteer for local nursing homes; and my photos from extensive travels have been received 2.4 million views.
