Dr. Anhlan Nguyen, ICF ACC, PMP, DBA Development and Marketing Director of ICEVN (Institute for Civic Education in Vietnam) Executive Director, Lyceum - Professional and Life Skills Development for Success! In 2012, she was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the Board of Vietnam Education Foundation (www.vef.gov), a national foundation established by US government to foster the relationship between United States and Vietnam through education. In 2014, she was the elected Board Chair and she served this role until the last board term in 2016. The foundation established a strong bridge between US and Vietnam through educational exchange and scientific research collaboration initiatives and helped to train 600+ Ph.D. and Masters’ students in Science and Technology, Mathematics and Environmental Science. Dr. Nguyen has received numerous awards and recognitions including “Top 30 Influential Women of Houston” Award by D-MAR communication; and “Americanism Medal” by The Honor Society of Daughters of American Revolution (DAR) in 2017; “Top 25 Women in Houston” award by Comerica Bank and Steed Society in 2010; “Asian American Heritage Award in Science and Technology” by Asian Heritage Society in San Diego, California in 2013; “Texas Women’s Leadership Empowerment” by Texas Women Empowerment Foundation in 2011; “Local Hero” by Bank of America in 2006 and “Five Outstanding Young Houstonians” by Houston Jaycee in 2000. Dr. Nguyen graduated Summa-Cum-Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 1989 and received a master's in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, Canada, in 1993. She attained her Doctoral Degree in Business Administration specialized in Project Management from Northcentral University in 2015. She is a life-long learner and continues to follow her passion in education through her non-profit work.

Mike Weber authored “Investigating Medical Child Abuse” for the FBI law Enforcement Bulletin (August 2018), a peer-reviewed publication. Weber also co-authored “Munchausen by Proxy: Clinical and Case Management Guidance” published in the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children’s (APSAC) Advisor Journal (March 2018). In the same issue of the Advisor Journal, Weber authored "Investigations of Factitious Disorder Imposed on Another or Medical Child Abuse.” The Advisor is also a peer-reviewed journal. Mike's educational/true crime book "The Mother Next Door: Medicine, Deception, and Munchausen by Proxy" was published in February 2025 by St Martin's Press and covers 3 cases of Munchausen by proxy investigated by Mike and was an Amazon.com true crime best seller. As a young vulnerable teenager I got into a relationship with an abusive man. Here, I stayed for 16 years. During this relationship, I was physically, sexually, financially, emotionally and verbally abused on a daily basis. I was a broken soul in a very dark world. I had two children whilst in this relationship who became my saviours. My children bared witness to all of the abuse their father conflicted on me. I am is now free and safe from this man. How ever, the trauma of the past had left me with mental health issues. I have been diagnosed with PTSD and have to continually see a therapist to improve myself. I have made it my mission to educate the next generation on what a healthy relationship should look like, how to identify the signs of unhealthy relationship and what abuse may look like. I have now become an advocate against domestic violence. I give speeches in school, at events, cooperate business place and anywhere else where I can raise awareness.
