Recently I had the opportunity to participate in a Diversity and Inclusion training, and the facilitator put me on the spot and asked me, “Who are you?” I hesitantly answered with my name… he told me to dig deeper. I’ve been thinking on this question for some time. What is my “why”? I have worked for the US Air Force, run my own businesses, wrote a book on personal development and overcoming challenges, and speak regularly to fellow foster parents. I am also an expert in the DISC model of Human Behavior, and a student of Leadership and how it is changing in the modern world.
