Gloria Treister, HHP, is a powerful advocate for wellness. She has worked in and studied about health and wellness for over 30 years. She recognized early on that it made better sense to take a proactive approach to one’s health, rather than be reactive. Gloria has been promoting wellness since the early 1980’s. As the Owner of Treister Physical Therapy, which she sold to publicly-traded NovaCare in 1997, she used the knowledge of her physical and occupational therapists for educating clients in prevention and self care. In 2003, she founded Wellness Evolution and began creating unique models for delivering a patient-centered, functional medicine approach to health, focusing on a person’s unique biochemical individuality and getting to the root cause of a problem, rather than treating symptoms. She has been empowering people ever since through unique services and comprehensive programs. Born Tommy L. Hutton II in a small rural town in Mississippi, and was relocated by my parents to a military town in central Louisiana.
