Ivonne Cameron, MPA is CEO of ISE International a business development, services & management consulting company, Founder of RM Media Production Co.; President/ CEO, Think Outside The Box, LLC, healthcare consulting firm; and served as the President & CEO for Hepatitis Foundation International. During her career she was Co-Founder/Board Chair, Third Millennium Health COOP of DC, Assistant Professor, Allied Health Sciences Department at Howard University, was chosen as a Fellow with the Harvard University Policy Institute and has consulted on Capitol Hill as a Senior Policy Fellow. Ivonne has also held the position of Associate Executive Director with the National Medical Association.
Ivonne has written extensive articles, appeared on local radio and been featured in news specials, documentaries seen on major news outlets addressing a broad range of health and social issues. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals both in the U.S. and internationally. As an Executive Committee Member of the Initiative for Vital Health Report on Global Health, she served as one of the contributing authors for the “Global Opinions on Global Health,” issued by the Brussels Parliament. She was also a contributing author for the landmark report, “Racism in Medicine,” presented to Congress that lead to “Unequal Treatment” issued by the Institutes of Medicine. Ms. Cameron served as a technical writer for federal agencies including US Department of Agriculture and Housing and Urban Development. Ivonne has also worked with countries including Great Britain, Germany, Bosnia/Herzegovina, Republic of Georgia Kenya, Liberia and Dubai implementing health care programs and system improvement initiatives.
Ms. Cameron has been honored as a Global Ambassador for Liver Disease, Women In High Places, 2017 - Africa as well as a nominee for the 2013 White House Champion of Change in Public Health and Prevention and recognized as a Community Leader in Who’s Who of Washington, DC 2010. Ms. Cameron is a Board Member, J.E.T.T. Foundation, Institute for Caribbean Studies, Gut & Liver Foundation and LiveWell Initiative.
As an entrepreneur, Ms. Cameron has launched 12 viable companies across different industries and is a capital agent that connects businesses to funding. Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Spanish Studies, a Master’s Public Health Administration. Ms. Cameron has completed Certifications as a Prevention Professional, Project Management, Non-Profit Executive, Rutgers Business School, and a Freight Broker from the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration.
