Camille is one of the most recognized champions of wellness travel and is the President of Wellness Tourism Worldwide (WTW). At WTW she leads consultancy engagements that assist governments, businesses, and entrepreneurs to capitalize on the US$500+ billion wellness tourism industry. Camille is a trusted, objective and knowledgeable resource providing destination assessments, research, workshops, online training and customized solutions.
As a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator, Camille spotlights the importance of taking time off and time away for self-care, reconnecting, transforming and being the best version of yourself – while also being socially responsible and eco-conscious. She is hired by tourism boards, visitors' bureaus, associations, government agencies on destination marketing, strategy and development. She also speaks to companies on life/balance and the importance of time off as a health benefit so that employees can have lead happier, healthier and more productive lives.
Her insights are often featured in leading consumer and trade publications, business reports and news organizations. Camille has predicted many of the major trends in wellness tourism and was the first to publish the Top 10 Wellness Travel Trends in 2013.
At the forefront of the industry since 2008, Camille received numerous awards for tourism marketing excellence and was recognized as a “Trendsetter” by TravelAge West Magazine. She was awarded the 2017 award for “Outstanding Mentor in Travel & Tourism” by witti.
She is a contributing writer for The Sage International Encyclopedia of Travel and Tourism, authoring a chapter on wellness tourism as well as other published works including, The Guide to Selling Wellness Travel, US Vacationers: Health, Happiness & Productivity and Wellness Travel: Shaping America’s Health and Economy. She also is a contributing writer to Travel Pulse.
Camille earned a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, holds wellness certifications from the National Institutes of Health. She serves as a U.S. Ambassador to Global Wellness Day to promote a global message that has touched over 250 million lives. She is also the first wellness-focused certified Ambassador to the World Food Travel Association supporting the association’s mission to eat well and travel.
