About Mari Geasair

I work with leaders and teams to help them build deeper relationships and inspire more buy-in during their presentations and high-stakes conversations.

My speeches and presentations share practical insight to help participants become more confident and poised, increase their vocal power and stamina, learn to maintain audience engagement and enthusiasm during virtual presentations, and overcome the conscious, subconscious, and physical habits that block them from achieving peak performance.

My work is grounded in the neuroscience of peak performance, voice and speech coaching, business development, public speaking, and live theatre performance.

I have been a business owner and entrepreneur since 1979 and have been helping leaders and entrepreneurs reach their goals since 1999.

During that time, I have spent more than 16 thousand hours coaching professionals to claim their distinctive professional voices. I have also given over 2,500 speeches and performances myself.

This plethora of hands-on experience has led me to a practical and no-nonsense approach. My method combines vocal, physical, mindset, and messaging techniques to ensure lasting change and a robust impact.

I am a member of the National Speakers' Association, an RLMC Certified Voice Coach, a Certified Voice Recovery and Stamina specialist, and a Certified Virtual Host.

My academic background includes Theatre Arts at Colorado University and Meisner Technique at the prestigious Freehold Studio of Seattle. I am also a CTP graduate of Coach University.

BRAIN SCIENCE SECRETS FOR HIGH-STAKES CONVERSATIONS

This Keynote program is perfect for:

Leaders and high performers in organizations navigating significant change

The audience will leave with:

>> Neuroscience-based techniques to help build trust and rapport with others during high-stakes communication.

>> Practical interventions for calming anxiety, stress, or frustration and bringing out an innovative, problem-solving mindset.

>> A tool for enhancing empathy and creativity in communication, resulting in more memorable and action-inspiring communication.

Description:

Learn to stay poised, access your highest creativity, and inspire meaningful collaboration: no matter how nerve-wracking the situation is!

Today’s stressed-out, multi-tasking, technically evolving workplace can be challenging. It can be particularly tricky when presenting complex data, solving thorny problems, or addressing faulty assumptions.

We can make easy changes to improve our mental states and communication effectiveness.

Virtual Presentations that Inspire Action

Give your team the information and tools they need to be their best in a changing work environment and create Virtual Presentations that inspire action. This highly interactive presentation will give participants new insight into why virtual meetings are so draining and share practical techniques to make them more effective. Great virtual meetings can increase employee engagement, enhance problem-solving and inspire innovation.

Tame Your Imposter Monster to Earn and Achieve More

Participants will get fresh tools for getting more done and attracting more opportunities without feeling fake or stressed. We will explore how to heal one of the least understood and most overlooked causes of low productivity and high anxiety at work: Imposter Experience.

Participants will learn about the unexpected ways this phenomenon can manifest in the workplace and derail our impact. We will discuss the research behind this phenomenon, and more importantly, walkthrough three specific techniques for banishing it. Audiences will leave with practical things they can do throughout their day to increase innovation, decrease procrastination and enjoy more authentic confidence.

Rock the Room: Brain Science Secrets to Increase Confidence, Poise, and Influence

Love it or hate it, presenting, both live and virtually, is a requirement for career success. The good news is that anyone can learn to present effectively. You don't need to be a born extrovert, and you don't have to force yourself to suffer through countless bad presentations to go from terrified to tolerable.

This workshop will explore the neuroscience behind crafting high impact messages, diminishing stage fright, increasing charisma, and delivering memorable experiences. All without compromising professionalism or authenticity!

Even introverts and people who hate the spotlight can turn presenting and public speaking into a career success platform.

Audiences will leave inspired and ready to start using what they learn right away, whether they are running a meeting, pitching an investor, building a social media following, or promoting a product.

Increase Impact by Developing Your Professional “It Factor”

Increase your professional magnetism without feeling fake, forced, or disingenuous. Whether you are on stage, on video, in a meeting, or just sending an email, the way you “show up” matters. When you know how to bring out your best self in high-pressure communication situations you can attract and serve even better professional partners, opportunities, and clients.

This hands-on, introvert-friendly, workshop will cover the four building blocks of leadership presence and genuine influence. You will leave with a practical process for assessing your current impact and making simple adjustments to enhance your natural charisma.

Empower Your Leadership Voice

Transformational leadership is grounded in effective listening and strategy. But it is also grounded in inspiring communication.

Learn how to generate more enthusiasm and inspire more action you speak. In this presentation, we will explore three aspects of your leadership voice:
1) Physical Voice
2) Non-Verbal Cues, and
3) Vocabulary Habits.

By bringing a new awareness and practical improvement tools to each of these three areas, you will quickly be able to increase your perceived credibility and inspire more action from others.

  • Hi, Mari had been recommended to us by some colleagues — we were keen, as a team, to improve the quality of communication in the virtual environment. Mari was fantastic, she knew her subject inside out, her tone and demeanour was patient, supportive and engaging, and she clearly does a lot of preparation beforehand. She had creative and fun approaches to illustrating key points and the learning in general. I loved the course, and I can confidently say that my fellow participants did too. What I gained from the course was far greater confidence, and a much more relaxed sense when I'm communicating with colleagues on virtual calls. The outcome is that I'm a more effective communicator — as a result of the course, and the accomnpanying mindset shift that Mari helped prompt. Thanks Mari! Fully recommended!

  • We invited Mari to deliver and lead a 2 series abbreviated workshop for Virtual Presence and Virtual Presentations that Inspires Actions. At first we were concerned that the virtual workshop will not work well, specially due to virtual meeting exhaustion and time constraint. The team, was pleased with the outcome of the 2 sessions. The sessions turned to be successful, interactive, highly engaged and effective. The team left the sessions with key takeaways and quick fix that was instantly gratifying and a WIN WIN. Furthermore, 3 weeks after the workshop, the participants are still talking about the learnings from the workshop and are continuously practicing what they learned. We love Mari so much and her teaching style that we asked her to come back for more, 14 sessions more.

  • Mari presented at our “Women in Leadership Speaker Series” about imposter syndrome. Her presentation was very interactive, and she kept the audience engaged for the full hour -- which is very difficult in a virtual world. She posed great questions in chat, answered questions, and had lots of practical and fun takeaways. She was very polished and professional in her delivery and managed to build trust and a connection with the audience. She went above and beyond by creating personalized follow-up videos which answered some key questions that we were not able to get to during the presentation along with a customized content hub to review materials and the video replay. I would highly recommend Mari and look forward to working with her again in the future.
