The Everywhere Workplace in a Never-Normal World

Remember the good old pre-pandemic days when people woke up, showered, got dressed, crawled through long commutes, and searched for a coveted parking spot, just so that they could sit at a desk in a building to do work? Today, workers demand flexibility and to work from everywhere, anywhere, at any time. Building an Everywhere Workplace is not just an essential talent strategy but a business growth strategy too. Work in this Never-Normal era is filled with new opportunities and landmines. During this presentation, Future of Work global thought leader Ira S Wolfe will share new research on what employees prefer and how to strike the right balance between remote, in-person, and hybrid workplaces.

The No BS* Workplace (*Burnout & Stress)

The future of work is here and BS (burnout & stress) is taking a devastating toll on workers, from the floor to the C-Suite. Even the World Health Organization now recognizes burnout as an occupational health issue. With labor shortages on the rise and resignations in freefall, employers are finally taking the employees’ mental health and emotional wellbeing seriously. Mitigating burnout, relieving chronic stress, and better connecting employees with their work are now top priority to ensure jobs are filled with employees performing at full productivity. Hear from Future of Work Global Thought Leader Ira S Wolfe on how to align company and employee expectations in a new world of work.

Create Great Culture in a Remote World

While many employers brush off Quiet Quitting and the Great Resignation as passing fads, finding ways to inspire and motivate employees to boost productivity is mission critical. The need to align employees’ priorities with business strategy has shifted from C-Suite platitudes and happy talk to indispensable execution. And yet most employers have no clue how to connect with their employees so they want to go above and beyond. During this presentation you will learn from Future of Work Global Thought Leader Ira S Wolfe about the 9 WHYs that drive humans to excel and grow and how to create a great culture one WHY at a Time.

Reimagine Your Tomorrow

We’re living in Never Normal Times. Everything is moving faster. Nothing is ever as simple as it used to be. And to make matters more complicated, humans are addicted to certainty. But we still have jobs to do and employees to serve. Adaptability is now an on-demand feature we all need to grow and thrive. Just as vaccines and boosters boost our physical immunity, adaptability is essential for our emotional and mental immunity. How can you build adaptability into your personal and company DNA? Future of Work Global Thought Leader Ira S Wolfe will lay the foundation to grow future-proof employees and build a people-forward culture that makes change work.

There's No App to Adapt, How to Thrive in a FCDDup World!

The SHIFT hit everyone's plans in 2020. The world had to duck and cover. Now that we are emerging from shutdowns, lockdowns, and quarantines, the world that many of us left is significantly different than the world we're living in today. No matter where you live, where you work, or what you do, life is different - and often bizarre and weird. Frustration, Confusion, Distraction, and Disappointment (FCDD) confronts us in unexpected and unimaginable ways. "Getting back to normal" are comforting words, but dangerous ones too. Future change is exponentially faster and it comes in waves. "Normal" means learning to grow and thrive in an era of perpetual uncertainty and complexity. Adaptability is no longer a choice or a nice to have skill but an essential human ability you need to grow and thrive. We all need to become adept at adapting.

Workforce 2030: HR, Future Shock, and the Speed of Change

0 years ago Alvin Toffler warned us about Future Shock, a time when "too much change in too short a period of time” would leave us overwhelmed, disconnected, and suffering from shattering stress and disorientation. Feeling the pain? Technology is blurring the lines between science fiction and reality. The tsunami of change facing HR can be paralyzing. Artificial intelligence is magically promising the impossible. We are traveling into a world of unknown unknowns which all but promises massive disruption in the way we work and live. How prepared are you to work with and supervise an algorithm? How should HR approach "non-human" talent? Join Recruiting in the Age of Googlization author Ira S Wolfe in this insightful presentation about technology, exponential change, future of work, and the role of HR.

Recruiting in the Age of Googlization

It’s time for every business to “get its SHIFT together” and get a grip on reality. Tried and true recruiting practices aren’t working. Traditional jobs are disappearing, new job categories are emerging, and the automation of work makes it seem like science fiction is taking over the workplace. The competition for qualified workers is intensifying and becoming terrifying. The wired, tired, and technology are converging and yet many companies continue to recruit and screen talent like it was still 1970. Isn’t it time for human resources to SHIFT?

Your Candidate Experience is All FCDDup!

You can hear it in Danny’s voice: Candidate Resentment Fueled by Frustration, Confusion, Disappointment, and Distraction (or FCDD.) Danny represents just one of the thousands of job seekers who experience one or more of these emotions every single day from an all-too familiar bad candidate experience. Join Recruiting in the Age of Googlization author/speaker Ira S Wolfe in this presentation as he guides you on a modern candidate’s job search journey, explains how to meet top talents’ expectations, and provides expert tips on how to engage more qualified job seekers.

The Future of Work Looks Like...?

We’re at a critical juncture. The Perfect Labor Storm is converging with the Age of Googlization. A monumental shift is disrupting the way work gets done. Nearly every job as we know will be transformed. No industry or business is immune. Sweeping advancements in technology (AI, machine learning, VR/AR, IoT, autonomous vehicles, and more) will shift the way job seekers search and businesses hire. What does this mean for talent acquisition and talent management? What does the future of HR look like? Join Ira S Wolfe on this fascinating journey into the future of work, jobs, and technology where science fiction jumps off the pages of reality.

Duct Tape Can't Fix Your FCDDup Recruitment

Duct tape can fix a lot of things - but a bad candidate experience isn’t one of them. Change isn’t waiting. Traditional recruiting practices aren’t working. And the “fun” is just beginning - the race for talent is in full swing and HR’s future depends on its ability to attract and acquire top talent. It’s time to get your “Shift” together. Get ready to engage top talent in 2021. Build an engaging, mobile, fast, and responsive candidate experience. During this presentation Recruiting in the Age of Googlization author/speaker Ira S Wolfe will guide you on the job applicant journey and provide recruitment marketing tips and insights on how to ensure an awesome candidate experience.

Recruitment Marketing for the Accidental Recruiter

Finding qualified candidates is one of the most significant challenges going forward. And yet many organizations continue to recruit as if change and technological disruptions are a passing fancy. To complicate matters, many recruiters are promoted or hired without recruitment and digital marketing experience. To win the race for talent, every business - no matter the industry or size - must deliver a spectacular candidate experience. Whether you're an experienced recruiter, HR professional, or landed in the position by chance, this is a must-attend session. During this session, Recruiting in the Age of Googlization author/speaker Ira S Wolfe will guide you on a candidate's job search, identify crucial touch points, and provide tips and insights on how to reach, engage, and convert more qualified job seekers into applicants.

Testimonials (22)
  • I got to hear Ira share his "Everywhere Workplace in a Never Normal World" presentation at a recent leadership conference in my area. While I expected to hear some of the routine tips on managing a remote workforce, what he actually spoke to was much larger than that. The data he shared about the changes to the available workforce and how to better hold onto employees when there never seems to be enough was enlightening and thought-provoking. My team had several conversations about what these changes mean for us as we look toward the future. Thanks Ira!

  • I was fortunate enough to enjoy a corporate sponsored luncheon in May 2022 where Ira Wolfe spoke in New York City. The topic was "Everywhere Workplace in a Never Normal World" . It hit the mark straight on! The statistics Ira shared were mind blowing including some of the top predictors of attrition in the Great Resignation. He captivated the audience in such a compelling way and we all learned so much! If you have a chance to hear and meet Ira don't miss it! Thank you Ira.

  • Ira's suggestions regarding candidate acknowledgments were second to none! I immediately contacted our Recruiter and told him that our "message" to the candidates needed to be overhauled. Ira's presentation put me in "their" shoes and it really allowed me to see that we needed to more personalize the acknowledgment of the candidate, and show our true appreciation for their interest in our company. Further, we will now institute a follow-up email system notifying candidates if the selection process is not proceeding as quickly as we committed to them. Moving forward, our messages will be much warmer and more welcoming; and really, in line with who we are, anyway! Thank you, Ira!

  • Ira Wolfe has served as one of our keynote speakers at the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry’s Human Resources Conferences for more than 20 years. We invite him back often because he is not only a great presenter, but the depth of knowledge he provides to human resources professionals is invaluable. He explains the latest trends, backs these up with interesting facts, and he always leaves the audience with steps they should take to help forecast and monitor their current staff needs. Ira provides HR professionals information that will assist them in their jobs, and that they can use when aligning their staff needs with the company’s strategies set by the C-Suite. His assessment of the state of current HR recruiting and hiring of qualified candidates is both accurate and eye-opening.
