Keynote Speaker | Creator of The Architecture of Adaptation™ | Founder
Oxnard, California
Cindy Costley's perspective wasn't shaped by theory alone—it was shaped by living it. For more than 34 years, Cindy lived in a body that often reacted severely to things that were simply part of everyday life. Food was dangerous. Environments made her sick. Even seemingly ordinary experiences could significantly affect how she felt and functioned. Over time, her world became smaller and smaller. For decades, she believed her body was broken. Eventually, her search for healing forced her to look deeper—and what she discovered changed not only how she understood her body, but how she understood human adaptation itself. Her body's responses weren't random. They made sense in the context of what it had experienced and what it had learned to anticipate. What had looked like dysfunction began to reveal something else: "adaptation." That discovery became the beginning of a much larger exploration. With a degree in dietetics and more than 20 years of experience working with the body, Cindy has explored conventional medicine, nutrition, functional and integrative approaches, energy work, trauma healing, nervous system regulation, and the complex relationship between our experiences and the ways we adapt to them. Over time, she began recognizing a principle that extended far beyond physical symptoms: "we don't simply adapt to what happens. We adapt to what our experiences teach us to anticipate." Those adaptations can influence far more than how we feel physically. They can continue shaping how we think, respond, communicate, relate, lead, perform, and navigate change long after the circumstances that created them have passed. Today, Cindy brings this perspective to audiences through The Architecture of Adaptation™, inviting people to reconsider responses we often label irrational, resistant, dysfunctional, or self-defeating and ask a different question: "What if this response makes sense when we understand what the person has adapted to?" Cindy is a keynote speaker, creator of The Architecture of Adaptation™, and host of The Underlying Answers podcast. Her work isn't about giving audiences another explanation for what's wrong. It's about offering a different place to begin—one that recognizes the intelligence behind how we adapt and opens new possibilities for how we understand ourselves, understand one another, and create change.

Tiffany Nugent has spent over two decades inside some of the most demanding organizations in the country, leading people strategy at Amazon, Zappos, UofL Health, and beyond. And she learned something the hard way. You can build a high-performing team and burn it to the ground at the same time. That realization didn't come from a book. It came from her own life. After being struck by a car and returning to work three days later, Tiffany began asking a question she couldn't stop asking. When is enough actually enough? That question became the foundation of everything she does now. Today, Tiffany is a leadership coach, speaker, and leadership development strategist who helps leaders build teams that are both high performing and genuinely sustainable. She brings a rare combination of hard-edged organizational experience and deep commitment to holistic wellbeing. As co-founder of Salt Wellness, a thriving wellness center, and a certified sound bath facilitator, she brings a perspective to leadership development that most programs never consider. Real transformation that sticks. Her speaking and workshop style is experiential and grounded, blending evidence-based leadership frameworks with mindful performance strategies. Whether she is keynoting a conference, facilitating an executive offsite, or leading a leadership training, Tiffany creates the kind of honest, reflective space where real change becomes possible and where organizations learn to align culture, wellbeing, and results without sacrificing one for the other. She holds a Cornell Executive Master's in HR and a degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Louisville, and she is a writer and thought leader whose work explores what it means to lead sustainably in today's workplace.

Shannon D. Smith is an Expertise Translation Strategist and facilitator who helps organizations turn critical know-how into shared language, decision tools, and repeatable ways of working that do not depend on any one person being in the room. Her work begins where most knowledge management efforts stall. Before expertise can be documented, managed, transferred, or made AI-ready, someone has to slow the expert down long enough to surface what they actually know and decode the judgment inside it. Research on expert knowledge elicitation suggests that experts often omit a significant portion of what they do when asked to describe their own process, which is why telling a top performer to “just write it down” rarely works. Shannon names the gap plainly: that is not a documentation problem. It is a translation problem. She brings dual graduate level training to the work, with an M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology and an M.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and she is a Certified Professional in Talent Development. Her approach sits at the intersection of instructional design, organizational psychology, facilitation, and knowledge management. On stage and on the page, Shannon helps leaders understand why their best people are often their worst explainers and what it costs when knowledge stays trapped. She shows organizations how to translate expertise into something a team, system, training experience, or AI initiative can actually use.
