As the first minor to ever write and present a bill to congress (in Costa Rica) seeking to create a feasible rout for the distribution of all perishable food, I intend not only to share my experience and concern on food waste with an audience of young leaders, but also I intend to inspire the youth by proving how no matter the age, the profession or the gender, people with passion and perseverance can change the world. My name is Nicole Arrea, currently I am a high school student and am 16 years old. more than a regular student and a high performance athlete, I am a leader within my community. Along with Maria Paula Mora (another high school student) I created the campaign "Compartamos la Mesa". Up to this point some of the campaign's achievements include; Working along with the United Nation's Food and Agriculture Organization and becoming an active participant in their efforts in Costa Rica, been published in four out of the five top newspapers and radio stations in Costa Rica, and drafting and presenting a bill to congress that is currently on the legislative current and has been signed by multiple congressmen including the 2016 president of the legislative assembly and current candidate for the 2018 presidency Antonio Alvarez Desanti.

My life is a story about how my frustration with the education of my children led to my latent discovery of my passions. This led to mentoring on hackathons and guiding startups on technology. Also started an incubator to accelerate the adoption of 3dprinting among companies, innovators and entrepreneurs. I talk about the state of technology and how a lot of the solutions for our problems are ready, but we have to change culturally to accept these changes. And the challenge of what you should teach your children in an ever-changing world, where 65% of the jobs our children will do, do not exist yet.

I'm an educator who is very passionate about helping people master finance easily. As an adjunct professor at the National University of Singapore and the founder of Financial Storytelling, I have dedicated my life to making finance simple, easy, and enjoyable for non-financial people. With my professional training as a chartered accountant and experience as a former regional finance head of a US Fortune 500 company, I am confident in my expertise in the field. What truly sets me apart is my love for storytelling. A Distinguished Toastmaster, I weave together engaging narratives with complex financial concepts, bringing finance to life for my learners. I'm currently working on my upcoming book, "Financial Storytelling: Once Upon a Balance Sheet," which is poised to revolutionize the way people think about finance. One thing that really bothers me is how unnecessarily complicated finance can be. I believe that everyone should have access to financial education, no matter their background or prior knowledge. That's why I write my book in a style that's accessible to all, breaking down complex jargon and making finance a topic that anyone can understand. With me as your speaker, trainer, and coach, your audience will unlock endless opportunities to make informed decisions and build a brighter financial future for their professional career and business. I can help you answer three top questions: 1. How can I leverage financial statements to achieve optimal control and growth for my business? 2. What are the critical financial metrics that enable effective management and optimization of my business? 3. How can I craft a compelling narrative using financial data to bolster my proposals and gain support for my ideas?

Since birth Dan Waldschmidt has been refusing to accept business as usual. Sure, he had a lawn mowing business at 12, but he turned his into a money-making machine (though he opted not to tell his mom about his increased profits). He got the usual entry-level job right out of college, but then he changed the sales process, earned millions of dollars for the company, and became CEO by the time he was 25. These days, Dan is a business strategist. A popular speaker. And an ultra-runner. Dan and his team help companies all over the world arrive at business-changing breakthrough ideas by moving past outdated conventional wisdom, social peer pressure, and the selfish behaviors that stop them from being high performers. The Wall Street Journal calls his blog, Edgy Conversations, one of the Top 7 sales blogs anywhere on the internet. He’s been profiled in Business Week, INC Magazine, Business Insider, and on dozens of radio programs. Hundreds of his articles on unconventional business strategy have been published. If you want to catch up with Dan, you’ll probably need to lace up some running shoes and hit the road. He’s the crazy dude running against traffic.
