I am committed to teaching skills and strategies that transform the minds and lives of teens girls. I am proud of my accomplishments which include running a thriving private practice serving teen girls and their families, and being sought after as a cultural diversity consultant. What many do not know about me is that by the time I was 13 years old, I was broken and displaced after migrating to the USA. My teenage years were tumultuous, plagued with sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, broken relationships, low self-esteem, and bouts with homelessness. In spite of these challenges, I have triumphed to become a wife of 29 years, mother of three successful adult children, and a highly respected girls empowerment coach. The difficult experiences in my early life, along with my education, inform my work. I am especially passionate about working with teens and families who are newcomers to the USA, struggling to navigate the complexities of adapting to a new country and new culture.

Erin Jones-Wesley doesn't fit neatly into any one box — and that's exactly the point. She is a media personality, creator, podcast host, speaker, and founder of EJW Media. She holds an MFA from the American Film Institute Conservatory and a BA from California State University, Long Beach, and she was the first woman in her family to earn either degree. But her story didn't start in a classroom or a writers' room. It started on a pitcher's mound. Erin earned a full athletic scholarship to Cal State Long Beach, where she became a Division I NCAA softball pitcher, broke program records that still stand today — 728 strikeouts, 84 wins, and 148 appearances — and was later inducted into the university's Athletics Hall of Fame. She went on to play professionally, earning a bronze medal on the international stage and a platform as an ESPN color analyst. That career taught her everything Hollywood later confirmed: that excellence is a habit, that preparation is the only shortcut, and that the people who last are the ones who do the work before anyone is watching. When Erin pivoted to entertainment, she brought that same discipline with her. She built her way into Hollywood with no industry connections — just an AFI recommendation from a former studio head and an unwavering belief that she belonged in the room. At AFI, she didn't just earn her MFA. She also competed as Miss Santa Monica USA, placing 2nd Runner Up at Miss California USA in January 2020 — a detail that tells you everything you need to know about how Erin moves through the world: fully, and on multiple fronts at once. She became a Creative Executive at Lionsgate, where she developed an eclectic and ambitious slate of projects: the psychological thriller The Housemaid, the Michael Jackson biopic Michael, the star-studded Another Simple Favor, and Now You See Me Now You Don't, among others. She understood early that the best stories don't just entertain — they move people, shift culture, and leave something behind. Along the way, she co-founded The 42 Initiative, a nonprofit that raised over $1 million and brought Little League baseball back to Inglewood — because access to the game that shaped her should never be a privilege. In 2025, Erin made a deliberate choice to leave the traditional Hollywood ladder and build something entirely her own. Today, EJW Media reaches over 3 million people monthly across TikTok and Instagram, with an audience of adults ages 18 to 44 who come for the pop culture commentary and stay for the perspective. Warm, witty, and deeply informed, Erin covers film, television, reality TV, the creator economy, and the cultural moments that matter — the way you would with your most plugged-in friend. She co-hosts Like Us Pod, a RHOBH recap podcast with her sister Danielle, and has appeared as a guest on Bravo While Black, Breaking Into Hollywood with James Lott, and The Bravo Investigator. She has spoken at Comic-Con panels, film industry events, high school career days, and softball opening ceremonies, carrying the same message to every room: the ladder is real, the climb is worth it, and you don't have to look like anyone who came before you to reach the top. Erin Jones-Wesley is what happens when a Hall of Fame pitcher, a Hollywood insider, and a natural-born storyteller decide to stop waiting for permission.
