My life started many decades ago in Switzerland. I was born and raised in Zurich. I didn’t have a master plan for my life. But deep down I longed for a connection that would last a lifetime like everybody else. I thought it would never happen and then I met my husband. My husband is American. We met during his vacation in Switzerland at my sister’s place who was married to his friend. The first thing that captivated me was his big smile. I am a sucker for a great smile. The rest is history. Our long-distance dating was challenging, to say the least. My English was lousy and his German non-existent. But we managed and in 1995 we got married in California (yes, my English improved, lol) and settled near San Francisco. We have been together ever since. Our marriage was not an easy ride. Cultural differences, financial problems, and more. You name it and it happened to us. We made it work because we are still together. Since 2013 we both have been working from home, which is difficult for many couples. We are so used to it that it feels weird when one is not around. It took us many years to get there. Trial and error marked our journey. We learned to communicate more productively. Forgiveness, empathy, and most of all becoming a good listener was key to creating a happy, healthy, loving relationship. Everything I teach and coach I have applied to my own life. I know what is required to get where I am now, and I can show you how too! I little bit about my professional experience: I am a trained life master coach and spent many years mentoring and guiding women who share their life with an addict. With my help, they learned how to cope with this tough situation. I love working with women, but I realized that making a marriage/relationship better needs the participation of both partners. Otherwise, I might teach a woman how to cope with her situation, but the marriage problem does not get solved that way. Picture two trapeze artists who must rely on each other 100% during their act. If only one knows how to catch and release at the right time … I think you can imagine what happens. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and dog, and yes, exercising to stay fit. I love reading, Italian food, and hanging out with friends.

My name is Amber Asad. I am a twenty-two-year-old girl who has type four quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Osteopenia, Amblyopia, Sleep Apnea, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Cerebral Palsy is a physical disability, which is caused before, during, or after birth, due to a lack of Oxygen to the brain. When I was being delivered, the doctor did not clean the surrounding area when the doctor was taking me out, so I ingested my meconium, otherwise known as my first bowel movement. After I swallowed my meconium, I could not breathe for eight minutes, which caused my brain to be damaged, and that leads me to be diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of two. The kind of Cerebral Palsy I have is called quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, which means that my whole body is damaged. The type of Cerebral Palsy I have is type four, which means that my body was at its peak when I was seven years old, but my condition deteriorates faster than other people who have a different kind of Cerebral Palsy, as I get older and I will be physically one or two years old, by my mid-twenties. I also have Epilepsy, which is a seizure disorder. Also, I have a condition called Osteopenia, which is a condition where you have brittle bones, and it is the beginning stage of Osteoporosis. The next condition I have is called Amblyopia or lazy eye, which means that my eyes are not working properly, and it could lead to blindness. Also, I have a condition called Sleep Apnea, which is a sleeping disorder where I do not breathe properly, while I sleep. The last condition that I have is called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which means that my Ovaries do not function properly. Despite all of my health conditions, I still strive to be an influencer and entrepreneur. I encourage everyone to get in touch with me at [email protected] and I will be happy to do a virtual speech for your events! I hope to get in touch with you soon! Sincerely, Amber Asad

Entrepreneurship started early in Winnie’s life. At age 7, she was selling avocados out of her friend’s yard all around their neighborhood. When she was 9, she was working at her father’s pizza restaurant, where she memorized the tax calculations for every pizza, cup of soda and menu item that could be ordered. An entrepreneur, speaker and media personality, Winnie has been featured on CNBC, Fox Business, Cheddar and appeared in 100 other interviews for various outlets. Winnie is the child of immigrant parents who struggled with a new language and a new culture, but they showed her how hard work could lead to success. Her family wasn’t rich, but she always felt extremely fulfilled and happy. Winnie’s parents were incredible savers and she remembers being taken to the bank to roll pennies and nickels to be deposited into her first savings account. Winnie accredits her first savings account booklet to be like a gift from heaven. Education was a top priority in the Sun household. As with many Asian parents, hitting the books came before anything else. Winnie excelled in high school and got accepted into all of her top choices for college — only to learn her first lesson about bad investing. Winnie’s parents put money into a townhouse project that was supposed to pay for college. It went belly up. She didn’t know it at the time, but her parents’ financial hardship and struggles served as the best personal finance education she could have received. Winnie also knew she never wanted to ever be in their situation. Winnie ended up in state at UCLA, working constantly to help her family financially. When most kids were partying, she was searching for side jobs. During college, Winnie started a television audience consulting company, signing the hit shows and big networks — America’s Funniest Home Videos, Judge Judy, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, MTV pilots and others as clients. She even became a voting member for the Emmy’s. During the television downtime, Winnie studied Personal Financial Planning at UCLA. Right before completion of the program, Winnie was hired as a financial advisor at Smith Barney. She sold her television audience production business, and put on her first suit. After more than a decade at Smith Barney, Winnie left to form Sun Group Wealth Partners with her partner Brandon Chang. In 2011, they left the big firm and started their own boutique practice.
