Generational Diversity: Understanding People in a Multi-Generation Organization
The workplace of 2020 is vastly different from that of 1983, and not just because of the addition of smartphones, tablets, and wireless internet everywhere we go. From Gen XYZ to Baby Boomers, the workplace is awash with workers of all ages. This training explores leadership traits and effective team management skills essential for success in today’s cross-generational organization.
Team Building
Leaders are increasingly required to manage complex and diverse teams, and we know this often feels like herding cats. Recognizing that people have different motivations, communication styles, and reasons for conflict, many leaders struggle to effectively manage these differences. This is especially true in the working world, where we see that competing motivations, unnecessary conflicts, and disgruntled people can tear an organization apart. In this training, participants will explore various communication and conflict styles, and will examine opportunities to motivate and build commitment through understanding and communication competency. Management skills discussed in this training can be an invaluable asset to a participant’s personal, professional, and civic life.
