Heather Hester is the creator and host of the three-time Women in Podcasting Award-winning podcast More Human. More Kind., and author of Parenting with Pride: Unlearn Bias and Embrace, Empower, and Love Your LGBTQ+ Teen. She is a speaker, writer, and coach helping parents, allies, and organizations find their way from fear to something that actually feels like love. Her work started with a phone call. When her son came out as gay in 2017, Heather's first words were a relieved "Thank god, I thought you were dead!" What followed was years of unlearning, honest conversation, and the slow, necessary work of growing into the parent her kid needed. She realized quickly she wasn't alone in that disorientation. And that most parents just needed someone to tell them the truth without shame attached. What began as a podcast and website has grown into a full platform: one-on-one coaching, a private Skool community, LGBTQ+ and Human-First consulting, and storytelling-driven workshops, talks, and articles. Heather doesn't offer tidy answers. She offers real ones. Whether she's working with a parent or speaking to a room full of HR leaders, the question underneath everything is the same: How do we stay connected to each other when things get hard? Heather is married to the funniest guy she's ever known and mom to their four extraordinary kids (two of whom are LGBTQ+) and one very opinionated mini Bernedoodle. She's slightly obsessed with the Weather Channel, and whenever she and her family land somewhere new, the first order of business is finding the best indie bookstore and the best coffee shop. She loves the smell of the ocean, the way damp summer heat makes everything slow down, and watching the butterflies and birds in her garden while she savors her morning coffee. She can lose herself in historical fiction, host a houseful of people any chance she gets, and make a mean bowl of gumbo. Her most cherished moments are the quiet one-on-ones with each of her kids and her husband, and the six of them together, where the air is equal parts deep love, sarcasm, irreverence, and "I've got your back."

Conflict ROI Architect: Navigating Dark Personalities, Intersectionality, and the Future of Human Work
Portland, Oregon
Conflict isn't just a communication breakdown; it’s a neural one. Most leaders treat conflict as an inevitable cost of doing business, but in reality, it’s a massive leak in your productivity. On average, every employee loses 2.8 hours per week navigating workplace friction. For a mid-sized team, that is hundreds of hours of paid time annually drained by everything from everyday misunderstandings and toxic personalities to the complexities of disability accommodations and the stress of adopting new technology. For owners and HR directors, that is a staggering amount of lost capital and human potential. As a 3x TEDx speaker and conflict resolution architect, I show organizations how to reclaim that time. My work is built on a proprietary neural framework: Processing (Neural) + Interpretation (Conflict) + Behavior (Resolution) By training teams to understand that processing is physiological and interpretation is where conflict takes hold, I provide a clear path to behavioral resolution that scales. Beyond standard skills training, I specialize in high-stakes intersections: from disability belonging and trauma-informed leadership to my specialized series on skillful termination and more. Backed by a track record of developing trainings that help businesses reduce costs and improve ROI, including speaking engagements at SHRM and SIOP, I am currently bridging the gap between human psychology and innovation. I am leading a team to develop an AI framework designed to dismantle systems of oppression and boost human effectiveness. My goal is simple: I transform those 2.8 hours of lost time and the stress it brings into skillful interactions that reduce costs, protect your culture, and produce an ROI that makes sense.

I’m Angiee Tajouidi, author of Be. Human. Again. and founder of the Be. Human. Again. Project. My work focuses on helping individuals and organizations reconnect with authenticity, emotional intelligence, and the human side of success. My path to this work was not traditional. I grew up in an abusive environment, spent time in juvenile hall as a teenager, emancipated at a young age, and spent years doing what I had to do to survive. Through resilience and relentless determination, I eventually built a successful career in the corporate technology world before stepping away to pursue a bigger mission. Today I speak to audiences about resilience, authenticity, mindset rewiring, and human-centered leadership. Personally, I help individuals break through limiting beliefs and rediscover their voice. Professionally, I work with leaders and teams to build cultures rooted in trust, psychological safety, and emotional intelligence. Because when people feel seen, valued, and empowered, performance naturally follows.

My name is Kailey Peckford (she/her) and I am a queer, white settler raised in amiskwaciwâskahikan (ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ), Treaty 6 territory, colonially known as Edmonton, Alberta. After working in sexual violence prevention across several Albertan universities, I noticed a critical gap: accessible, high-quality education for the broader community—especially workplaces—was largely missing. Much of the available sexual harassment training is superficial, designed to meet compliance requirements rather than to educate meaningfully. These programs often lack input from subject matter experts and ignore best practices in adult learning. Meanwhile, sexual assault centres offer excellent, research-informed training but are typically underfunded and overextended. To bridge this gap, I founded For Better Consent Education in 2025. For Better's mission is to connect workplaces and organizations with evidence-based, engaging training on sexual violence prevention, including sex education as a core component of primary prevention. With a background in sociology and research focused on public drinking establishments, I bring both subject-matter expertise and real-world insight to the development of For Better's workshops. Drawing on years of facilitation and public speaking experience, I ensure each session is interactive, practical, and grounded in best practices for adult education.
