SpeakerHub Marketplace: More international events listed
The Event Marketplace is at the heart of what we are creating at SpeakerHub: being the one-stop-shop for all “calls for speakers,” creating connections between speakers and event organizers.
Since the launch of the Events Marketplace in 2016, several hundred events have been posted, and thousands of speakers booked. However, when we asked you for feedback, you had one clear demand—more international events.
We take your feedback seriously, so we’ve improved the Event Marketplace by adding more international events.
In the past two weeks, we have added over 150 new international events looking for speakers.
We have a new, dedicated team, formed with the sole goal of finding international events. They have found dozens of paid and free events from countries like China, France, Japan, Russia, and Spain.
What is the Event Marketplace and how can it help me?
The Marketplace is like a job bulletin board, created just for speakers and event organizers.
Event organizers from around the world can post their events to the SpeakerHub Marketplace for free, and speakers can apply for the speaking opportunities that best suit their skillset.
The postings include all the information a speaker needs to be able to decide if they are a fit for the event. This includes the conference topic, fees (if any), location, and specifics on which topics need to be covered.
The Event Marketplace is accessible to our Sliver and Gold membership holders, speakers, including (but not limited to) keynote speakers, webinar hosts, workshop trainers and panel moderators.

When are new international jobs posted?
Every day we scan the web to find new events you can apply for. Check back regularly to see the latest events, or activate your weekly event alert email digest directly in your Speakerhub profile.
You can sort results based on when the event was posted or by application closing date.
Where is the Event Marketplace on SpeakerHub?
Click on this link, or from the home page, just click on “Events” on the top menu bar.
How do I apply?
Applying couldn’t be easier. Once you find an event that you would like to speak at, simply click the “Apply Now” button.
Then select “Speaker Application”.
The event organizer has the option of either redirecting you to the speaker application process on their organization’s website, or they may choose to manage the application process entirely on SpeakerHub. In this case, you will be able to fill in the application in situ.
Each of the event postings includes key information to help you write a great proposal — like what topics they are looking for, who the audience is, and what their ideal speaker looks like.
This information will help you craft an application that is catered to their needs, which will increase the likelihood of them contacting you.
